Foxholes is a residential care home set in 18 acres of serene and peaceful Hertfordshire countryside surrounded by grazing horses and an abundance of wildlife.
Purpose built near the market town of Hitchin in 2012 Foxholes provides a luxurious standard of accommodation and facilities that are second to none.
Our home is a haven you will be happy to call home and which we are proud to call a centre of care and excellence.
Welcome to Foxholes.
We set out to design a spacious home with beautiful vistas of the English countryside, exceptional gardens and facilities.
We created a unique home with luxurious rooms all with en-suite.
We believe that quality and nutritious fresh food is paramount. Therefore we have, by design, a purpose built professional kitchen staffed by a dedicated chef and his team.
Our vision is to provide the highest levels of accommodation, care, food and the very best services available.

Foxholes is designed to be spacious, with lounges and quiet rooms on every floor it’s a wonderful place for residents to spend time with their family and friends. Our 18 acres of gardens make Foxholes a unique place.
We provide residential and respite care with our team of highly qualified professionals. We provide a wide range of support, such as access to GP, chiropody and ophthalmology and many other services.
We designed Foxholes to offer more than a traditional care home. We have a hair and beauty salon as well as a shop, our bistro and orangery is a wonderful place to meet for coffee and chat.
