coronavirus update

UPDATE ON CORONAVIRUS FOR VISITORS TO FOXHOLES

With the latest updates having been released on the coronavirus pandemic, regrettably, we have made the decision to close our home to visitors. This came into force from midnight on 13th March, and will be in place for 2 weeks.

If you should need to be contacted regarding the health of your relative, we will let you know and offer advice on how you can make your visit.

Meanwhile, you are more than welcome to call the home to speak to your relative, and there is an option to use FaceTime, should you so wish. Please do contact us prior to the call, so that we can arrange an appropriate time.

It is within our best interests to do everything we can to keep our staff and residents safe during this time. We are fortunate that we have not yet had any issues, and we are conscious to follow the recommended guidelines to try to keep it this way.

In the coming weeks, we will be taking all the measures we can to prevent the virus from entering, and being spread around, our home.

According to the NHS guidelines, you should remain at home for 7 days if you show any of the following symptoms:

  • A fever / high temperature;
  • A new, continuous cough.

If you notice any of these symptoms, do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

The situation is constantly changing, and as changes are being made, we shall endeavour to keep you as quickly informed as we possibly can. This may be via our social media pages, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and through our mail campaign.

In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

Best wishes,

The Foxholes Team
