It’s pumpkin season and our residents were delighted to enjoy a trip to the beautiful Hitchin Lavender Fields, one of Hertfordshire's most popular tourist destinations. The site welcomes visitors from across the world each year, drawn by its sweeping lavender fields and, in autumn, its much-loved pumpkin patch.
Residents explored the patch, admired the displays, and finished the visit with a warm drink and slice of cake in the barn café. It was a simple, enjoyable trip that brought a change of scenery and plenty to talk about back at the home.
