Our communal areas are the heart of Foxholes, where residents socialise and meet with their visitors. You can count on always finding someone to chat to and enjoy a drink with.
Residents can enjoy freshly made hot drinks or choose from our selection of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. We are also well-known for our ice cream parlour which is popular all year round.
There is also a complementary self-service area for visitors in the Orangery.
Library
Our library and games room offers a social and stimulating environment in a calm and cosy setting, overlooking the fountain garden. Our growing library currently houses over 1000 books.
Beauty Salon
Our care team will always be more than happy to assist with ant beauty needs residents may have such as hair washing and nail cutting and filing.
If residents wish to be pampered, we have an on-site hairdresser three days per week who specialises in the maintenance of residents hair.
Our nail technician offers a bespoke selection of services throughout the month which includes a mini hand massage. She also specialises in hair removal.
Pet Therapy
We are a pet-friendly home and have several resident cats.
We promote pet-therapy and are frequently visited by a therapy dog and ponies who do group and individual room visits.
We organise regular visits from Zoolab with their small animal encounters.
Dogs on leads are welcome inside the building and in the garden.
Shop
We have a fantastic on-site shop within the home which is fully stocked to accommodate our residents.
Shop items include day to day essentials such as toiletries, stationary and other items.
We also have a variety of gifts available and during different festivities such as Easter and Christmas we include suitable items.
We provide postage services and the shop includes a post box which allows residents to send out mail.
Keeping in Touch
Technology is a huge part of keeping our residents in touch with their relatives and friends. With complementary Wi-Fi for everyone, this has never been easier.
We have well-established video portals throughout the home that allows residents to connect with their loved ones with the help of our team.
Residents can also have a landline phone installed in their room.
